Exhibition “Longing for Romania” at Gallery Lytkan
The Bessarabian painters Veronica Iftodii and Gheorghe Lisita will expose a collection of paintings in Stockholm, the capital city of Sweden. The exhibition is foreseen for the period from November 29th to December 11th, 2014, and will take place in the Lyktan art gallery.
The exhibition, titled ”Dor de Romania” (in English ”Longing for Romania”), will incude 70 paintings that illustrate the Romanian cultural geographic space and it is hold wilth the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute from Stockholm and the Romanian Embassy in the Kingdom of Sweden.
”Through this exhibition we want to show to the public’s attention a collection of paintings that represent the various motives peculiar to Romania. Each the landscape, portrait, static nature and figurative composition paintings represent a Romanian woe”, – have precised the young artists, whom are not at their first exhibition in Sweden. In 2010, the paintings signed by Veronica Iftodii and Gheorghe Lisita were exposed in many galleries of Stockholm.
During the years, they have gathered in their victory list many personal and group exhibitions both on the local and international levels, in countries as Poland, Sweden, Turkey, Romania. Private collections were exhibited in Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Ukraine, France, Italy, USA, Malta, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Spain, Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The exhibition will incude 70 paintings of both artists. We suggest you to preview bellow some works painted over the years.
